This whiskey belongs to a special category. It goes through the same production process, but matures 2-3 years longer. About 25% of the whiskey disappears from the barrel during maturation. This phenomenon is called "Angel Tax". Each bottle of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is filled from only one barrel and therefore each bottle has an original taste. The color is rich, dark red, caramel. The aroma is mature, robust. We can smell oak and chocolate. In the taste, sweet vanilla gives way to a strong oak taste, it contains an undertone of cherry and orange. The finish is oaky, slightly sweet, with a cedar undertone and a taste of apples.
